Receiving CRA Notices via E-mail

The Canada Revenue Agency ("CRA") has provided a new option for charities to receive the latest notices from the Charities Directorate and the annual reminder to file the Form T3010, Registered Charity Information Return, by e-mail (rather than by regular mail). 

To receive these notices by e-mail, you can contact the Charities Directorate by phone at 1-800-267-2384 or send a letter by fax to the Client Services department at (613) 954-8037.  It is important to note that if a charity chooses to submit an e-mail address, the CRA will discontinue sending these notices to your charity’s office address that they have on record.
