Here are Loris and James’ bios:

Loris Giusto is an Associate Tax Partner in charge of KPMG’s Not-for-Profit Tax Practice in the Greater Toronto Area which encompasses charitable organizations. Loris is responsible for providing tax advice to most of the not-for-profit clients in KPMG’s North Toronto office. He has practiced exclusively in the income tax area for over 16 years. He is an enthusiastic and dynamic tax advisor who enjoys actively participating in his clients’ planning processes and providing proactive advice. His not for profit practice ranges from assisting in registering with the Canadian tax authorities to advising on all manner of issues that arise in the income tax area as they relate to entities operating in this sector, including advice on completing documents required for tax compliance and interpreting communications issued by CRA relating to the sector.

K. James Johnston is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Enterprise Practice and a key member of the Not-for-Profit Tax Practice in the Greater Toronto Area. He is located in the firm’s North York office in Toronto. Mr. Johnston has over ten years experience providing tax services to entrepreneurial clients. For the past three years, he has specialized in providing tax advice to the not-for-profit clients in KPMG’s North Toronto Office. His not for profit experience includes interpreting Canadian tax rules and communications issued by the Canadian tax authorities related to charitable organizations and advising on compliance and other tax matters encountered by our charity clients.
