The Dept. of Finance has released some Legislative Proposals Relating to the ITA on August 16, 2011. These proposals deal with implementing the June 2011 budget proposals which include a number of proposals to prevent abuse of charities and RCAAAs.

These are draft proposals and people can send in comments to Finance.

“The Department of Finance today released for consultation draft legislative proposals to implement tax measures from Budget 2011, the Next Phase of Canada’s Economic Action Plan—A Low-Tax Plan for Jobs and Growth.”
