Finance Committee of House of Commons to begin hearings again on Braid motion on tax incentives

On Wednesday October 3rd, 2012, the Finance Committee of the House of Commons will have a hearing on tax incentives for charitable donations.

The Standing Committee on Finance met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Hon. Scott Brison, Guy Caron, Shelly Glover, Brian Jean, Hoang Mai, Wayne Marston, Cathy McLeod, Peggy Nash, James Rajotte and Dave Van Kesteren.
Acting Members present: Ed Komarnicki for Randy Hoback.
In attendance: Standing Committee on Finance: Daniel Benatuil, Analyst; Mark Mahabir.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, the Committee resumed its study of tax incentives for charitable donations.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
