The Charity Law Information program has posted various videos at http://www.vimeo.com/charitylaw  These videos came from a conference entitled “Being Good and Doing Good” which was held in Toronto in 2010.

Here is a little blurb on the Charity Law Information Program (which is supported by a contribution from the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency).

We all know that managing a charitable organization can be very complex. Funders, donors and consumers are demanding more transparency and accountability, board and staff need to keep on top of their legal compliance requirements, and everyone needs to be concerned with safeguarding their organization from misuse.

That’s where the Charity Law Information Program, or CLIP, can help. CLIP is a project of Capacity Builders, made possible by a financial contribution of the Canada Revenue Agency. The project’s goal is to help charities become more aware of their legal obligations under the Income Tax Act. On this site you’ll find numerous plain-language resources and a calendar of upcoming workshops, webinars and podcasts on a variety of topics. http://www.vimeo.com/charitylaw
